Imperial Motus Med members can join Cedar’s medical expense shortfall insurance policy to cover the difference between the rate at which the Scheme pays claims, i.e. the medical scheme rate (MSR), and the fees charged by healthcare providers.
The cover increases the MSR by up to 300% for, among others, specialists, general practitioners, anaesthetists and radiology and pathology.
